BehAIve - Behaviour Monitoring and Support of Older Adults

The joint project develops innovative solutions and support systems for older people in their home environment. An AI-supported, situation-adaptive system uses sensors to monitor older people or those with cognitive impairments in order to detect behavioral deviations and enable targeted support services. The aim is to improve quality of life while reducing the burden on nursing staff. The anticipated research results have considerable potential for overcoming demographic challenges. This makes them highly relevant for the state of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, which has an aging population. The application of the technology in other contexts will also be researched.
